I've Been a Busy Bee...

I have been busy in small bursts this week.  It started really well with lots of ideas then for a couple of days I suffered with a migraine which means I don't feel up to doing anything :-(

Eventually I perked up and made a few Valentine/general greetings cards for my Etsy Shop

which includes two ATCs mounted on card...

These are created by printing manipulated photos of one of my quilts onto fabric and then quilting.

Next for the shop are Mothers' Day gifts from an idea I have from one of my dad's photos...my dad's legacy lives on...

I also made a start on pinning the pieces of the 'quilt I'm making for me'

The next stage for this is to sew all the curves - all 42 of them - and then pin the other side so it starts all over again!  I did consider cheating and appliquéing the curved pieces instead but decided to go for the stitching - this is going to take some time!!

As well as all this sewing and card making I'm still knitting socks and have just found a pattern for two needle socks and have some gorgeous wool to use too!

But I must finish just one more sock before trying the two needle method...hopefully it won't be too long now...watch this space :-)
