I've been 'Bookmarking' :o)

...well, making bookmarks.
Using Artist Transfer Paper I printed a leafy design from my PC and transferred it onto Lutradur. I fused this onto pelmet vilene.
I then added snips of organza and sparkly thread, covered it with tulle and embroidered some stitch designs all over it.
Then I cut it into 5 and made 5 bookmarks :o)

And how lovely they look too. Just in time for Christmas, or do you have other plans for them?

How did you get on with TAP, Angela? I've had mixed success.

Love those colours - was it your own photo or something else on your computer?

Our group is talking about Christmas fabric swaps - do you want to take part, or are you too busy?

Drop in sometime.

Thanks everyone :o) They were really quick to make and I don't mind anyone having a go :o)

Julia, the jury's still out on TAP paper - this is the first time I've used it so I'll let you know when I've done a bit more - one day! I'll pop over to the group soon - I've got a couple of deadlines for the magazine and pressies I want to make too - I can't believe it's mid-November already!
